And so issue 3 ends on a slightly suspenseful note. The comic is taking a productive sabbatical before posting issue 4 (page 76, 77, etc). After careful consideration, the script for issue 4 needs some tender loving care before going forward. It is necessary for the quality and longevity of the comic.

Additionally, you have probably noticed that issue 3 (page 51-75) had a bit more depth and lighting than the previous 2 issues. This was largely due to the encouragement of a colleague of mine and the effort has obviously brought a lot to the comic.

Thus, the second goal of the sabbatical is to update the depth of the first 50 pages. It just doesn’t seem to get done while making the new ones at the same time. Thedevilbear.com first got up and running on July 14th of 2009. I can’t think of a better birthday present for the comic than giving it some enhancements.
